When you create a yobookit account, we collect your business name, email address, and password. When you use the platform, we also collect booking data (appointments, services, client records), billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store full card numbers), and usage data (pages visited, features used, error logs) to help us improve the product.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the yobookit platform
- Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, account notifications, trial reminders)
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Diagnose bugs and improve the product
- Send product updates and announcements (you can opt out at any time)
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models.
3. Data your clients provide
When your clients make bookings through your yobookit booking page, they provide information to you (as the business owner), not to yobookit directly. You are responsible for your clients' data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. yobookit stores this data on your behalf as a data processor.
4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (e.g., billing records).
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected
- Deletion — request that your account and data be deleted
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on the yobookit application. Our marketing website may use analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) — you can opt out via your browser settings.
7. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate yobookit:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, HTTPS for all connections, and row-level security policies to ensure your data is isolated from other tenants. We conduct regular security reviews and update our infrastructure promptly when vulnerabilities are discovered.
9. Changes to this policy
We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making any material changes to this privacy policy. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
